Welcome to Massapoag Yacht Club

Massapoag Yacht Club was founded on the shores of Lake Massapoag in 1946. MYC is an all-volunteer organization that has become a landmark for yacht racing in Massachusetts, as well as the Northeastern region of the US. Whether you are brand new to sailing or have extensive experience, MYC offers organized competition for all ages. We have hosted national sailing competitions as well as local and regional regattas. We hold races from May to October for all sailboat classes including juniors. For details see our Events Calendar.

MYC Open House a Big Success

THe MYC Open House on 5/15 was a great succes. There were over 30 new members, perspectgive members, Board members and resular members attending. A few current membrs spoke to the crowd giving an overview of the club and our events. The boxed lunches were great and everyone had a good time! Women Skippers Regatta 9:00 - lets get loads of women on the helm for this event. Prizes awarded for at least the top 3 skippers, refreshment served. Those with duty should come by 8:15 to set up for racing.

Start Time: 1:00 PM

Single-Handed Regatta 1:00 - This is the day that big boat skippers sail without a crew and prhaps come to appreciate their crew just a little bot more! Thos with race support should arrive by 12;15 to set up for racing.
