Massapoag Yacht Club was founded on the shores of Lake Massapoag in 1946. MYC is an all-volunteer organization that has become a landmark for yacht racing in Massachusetts, as well as the Northeastern region of the US. Whether you are brand new to sailing or have extensive experience, MYC offers organized competition for all ages. We have hosted national sailing competitions as well as local and regional regattas. We hold races from May to October for all sailboat classes including juniors. For details see our Events Calendar.

MYC's First MC Scow Regatta 6/20/2026

MYC will hold its first MC Scow regatta on 6/20/2026. Sailors from area clubs have been invited to join our fleet of 4 for a fun day of sailing on Lake Massapoag. Come on down and join the fun - you may find yourself wanting one of these cool boats!

Sad News for the MYC Community and Town of Sharon

it is with great sadness that we report the passing of long time club member Don Williams. Don has done so much for our club, the Town of Sharon and many other organizations he served. MYC 77th Annual Regatta - FS Districts and Clinigata

Start Time: 4:00 PM

Massapoag Yacht Club proudly hosts our 77th Annual Regatta for Big Boats on 8/21-8/23/2026. This includes the Flying Scot New England Districts, Clinigatta and Day Sailer Regatta. NOR and registration are on Regatta Network https://www.regattanetwork.com/event/31424

Saturday will be the FS New England Districts and Day Sailer Regatta with our buffet breakfast and lunch and our famous lobster, chicken, steak or vegetarian dinner options. Regatta awards will be presented at the end of the day.

Sunday will be the Clinigatta with on the water coaching. There will be Championship level sailors there who can join you on your boat or provide assistance and coaching from a support boat. We'll have a buffet breakfast before we go out for several short races, After racing. there will be a buffet lunch, followed by awards at the end of the day.

We hope you can make it for a few days of fun sailing, good food and great competition.
