July Moonlight Sail and Beach Party

 

On July 9, Ed Underwood and Mary Valentino hosted a fun moonlight sail, followed by a fire in the firepit and the movie Wond on the beach, Jon was there with his ice crean cart too,! If you haven't tried sailing by moonlight, yu have to try it - come to the Agusut moonlight sail!

Time to register for the MYC 73rd Annual Regatta

Time to Register for the 2022 Massapoag Yacht Club 73rd Annual Regatta on 9/9-9/11/2022 on Regatta Network https://www.regattanetwork.com/event/25048. We welcome Sunfish, Laser, RS Aeros, Day Sailers, Comets and Internatioanl Canoes. Trophies will be 3 deep for each class, and 5 deep for any class that registers 10 or more boats by 9/1/2022. We'll have lots of racing Saturday and Sunday. There is a Welcome Party with refreshments on Friday, Buffet breakfasts and lunches Saturday and Sunday. We'll have our usual Lobsters (extra charge), steak tips, chicken, or Pasta Primavera for dinner with sides. Of course there is the make-your-own sundaes or pie for dessert. Soft drinks, beer and wine are included with dinner. Come on down!

Moonlight Sail 8/13/2022 Photos

August 13, 2022, was a perfect night for a moonlight sail on Lake Massapoagh, hosted by Eric and Lynn Hemmendinger. Apres sail, they made s'mores pon the beach. How fun - and just look at that moon! If you've never sailed by moonlight, you have to try it! Thanks Emily Szczypek fo the photos!

No Racing - But the Dock Got Some Needed Repairs

Well, there was not enough wind to race today, but there were enough people to make some needed repairs to the dock. Thanks to all who helped out today, making the dock safer and more reliable. Dory approved as she looked on!
