The Club is buttoned up for the winter and we want to thank all the members who participated in getting the work done. The docks are out, the buildings are closed up, boats are in their winter storage locations and lots of lleaves have already been cleared, Next up is the Commodore's Banquet on 11/12/2022. We have some sad news to report. Past Commodore and long time member Carol Isgur Passed away on 11/8/2022 after a brief illness. Carole was a real presence at our Club for many years and she will be missed by so many of us. Please send your thoughts to her husband Ed and her family at this sad time

At our Commodore's Banquet, we honored Commodore Chris Stow. Chris dedicated the evening to our first woman Commodore Carole Isgur, who passed away this week after an illness. Bob Gaffney, a fellow Day Sailer skipper, said some nice words about Carole before we had our dinner. Ann Marie Rosa and Sally Tortorella ran the famous reverse raffle, where the big winners were John Eckart, Dennis Dubuc and Edith Benisty. Evan Locke and I awarded certificates of appreciation to the many chairpersons who took care of club business, the Board of Directors and of course, the Commodore. We finished up the evening with special achievement awards and racing awards. It was a very nice evening with great food and great friends! See photos here.
