No Wind but a Great Club Supper

Diane Kampf 0 68

We didn't have enough WIND for racing for the 19 boats that went out hoping for wind. But it was just not meant to be. We did have enough FOOD for a lovely club supper. The salads, main dishes and the desserts were as good as always and no one went away hungry. Thanks so much to all the cooks!

Lots of activity at MYC

Diane Kampf 0 101

We had the cookout on 7/3 with Rod Kampf, Barry Kasindorf and Genna Robbins serving up some goodies, then the fireworks! On 7/4 there was the pancake breakfast with Dennis Dubuc, Chris Hughes and Tom Shea cooking up a storm. And we have the 7/7 dinner where the Lambalots and the July dinner team serve the best deal in town. Hope you are enjoying the events at MYC!

And, if you love racing, the Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday Juniors and Regular series continue with several regattas on the horizon. Come join the fun!

Thanks to all who came today to get the decks sealed and those who did the tables earlier. Everything looks great for all of us to enjoy our events at the club! Awesome job!

Not Much of the Moon for the 6/22 Moonlight Sail

From Emily Szczypek at the 6/22 Moonlight Sail

Walter (Doherty), his daughter and son braved the fog and the only sailboat that went out. About 14 adults and kids combined enjoyed S'mores, Cheeses & Crackers, Pepperoni, grapes, vegies & dip and other yummies.

Thanks, Shelly (Landry), for picking up the food, Lynn & Eric (Hemmendinger) for bringing the s'mores ingredients
