Flert Captain Sterling Worrell and the hDay Saiker Fleet got together on 8/5 for a picnic and sail around the lake. Weather was perfect for the event.

Massapoag Yacht Club will be busy with Regattas over the next several weeks. Hope we see lots of participants and speactators!

Junior Regatta - 8/13/2023 9:00 AM - All kids under 18 are welcome to participate. There is no cost for this event. Kids can use their own boats or the Town boats or the Club Sinfish,

Women Skippers Regatta - 8/19/2023 9:00 AM - Any women can participate with the crew of your choice. Hope to see lots of women on the water this year! There is no registration fee. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 skippers. Refresments will be served.

Big Boat Single Handed Regatta - 8/19/2023 1:00 PM - Come on down and see how you can do without your crew! Anyine can participate in this event. Ther is no registration fee. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 skippers. Refresments will be served.

MYC 74th Annual Regatta - big boats 8/25-8/27/2023 - All FLying Scots, Day Sailers and Comets are welcome. This is also the Atlantic Coast Championship for the Day Sailer Fleet. Get the NOR and Register now at  https://www.regattanetwork.com/event/26752. Hope you can come!

Lots of kids came out for Junior Sailing today,  Only 3 boats finished the race, the rest ran out of wind. Not much wind but loads of fun!

We are looking at the terrible forecast and have rescheduled the pancake brunch for Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Come and join us for a great meal prepared by our own Dennis Dubuc and Chris Hughes. $10 for 18 and older, $4 for kids 10-17 and free for kids under 10. Hope to see you there!

Well, Mother Nature did not ccoperate this weekend - the Moonlight Sail would have been without the moon, but it was cancelled.

We had a lovely cookout before the fireworkds on July 3 - thanks Rod Kampf, Barry Kasindorf and Genna Robbins for the sides and desserts. The Sharon Firewords were a little early this year, trying to avoid the upcoming thundersgorms. It was lovely seeing them at dusk! We got pretty lucky - the rain started just as we were leaving the club.

Unfortunately, inclement weather forced us to cancel the pancake brunch and boat decorating on July 4th.  Hopefully we can reschedule.
