Everyone had a good time at this event, rganized by Lynn and Eric Hemmendinger - perhaps it will become a yearly event?

Once member noted "It was great weather (how did you manage that?). Smores, firepit, crackers and cheese, grapes, watermelon and more. A good time was had by both kids and adults".

Another member said "Thanks Lynn Magnani Hemmendinger for the very nice event, my kids loved the S'mores and they couldn't stop talking all the other fun stuffs they did while we're driving home. Great night with a lot of friendly club members!!"

Saturday, June 8,2024, oday was a beautiful sunny day for Flying Scot Fleet Day, organized by Fleet Captain Greg Kampf. We worked on some rigging, center board analysis, spinnaker raise/jibe/trim/douse and a host of other items. Commodore John Eckart gave a talk on using your compass, which generated lots of good questions and answers. We also finished some things on the club boat. We enjoyed a nice lunch together too - altogether a good day.

Reminder for all small boat racers. The 2024 Thursday Night Series is starting this Thursday 6/6 at 6:30 PM. Come on down and join the fun!

Lots of work got done on club boats on Saturday 6/1. Thanks Jeffrey Sprung and everyone who helped! So great to be getting them ready for sailing classes!
